Overall Description: Cyprus Foundation of the Sea is the Cypriot cluster organization for the Blue Economy. Its vision is to build an Innovation-driven Ecosystem in which organizations across different Blue sectors undertake joint activities related to: innovation, networking, influencing the business and political environment, human resource upgrading and engaging the society. This will be achieved by developing a shared sectoral innovation roadmap in line with the Smart Specialization Strategy of Cyprus, and a program of capacity and capabilities building activities, addressing shared challenges and fostering an integrated approach on marine and maritime affairs; becoming the National Champion of the EU’s Marine and Maritime Agenda for Growth and Jobs.
